Getting to know
Fotorgear Campix.
Does Campix use real film?
No. Campix is a digital camera with a film-inspired, 36-shot roll experience. It captures digital images and lets you develop the roll in the Campix App, without buying physical film or paying for lab processing.
How does the 36-shot roll work?
Each digital roll groups 36 shots into one set. Choose a filter look, compose through the waist-level viewfinder, and use the winding control between shots. Complete the roll, develop it in the app, and begin another.
Can I use my existing camera lenses?
Campix uses Fotorgear’s proprietary T-lens mount. The campaign lists compatible Fotorgear 8mm fisheye, 16mm wide-angle, 60mm portrait, 75mm macro and 1.55× anamorphic options. Do not assume lenses from other camera systems will fit. Check your exact lens and chosen reward before backing.
Can I edit the photos and create my own looks?
Yes. Campix supports RAW and JPG. The Campix App supports LUT import and filter adjustments, with six customizable filter slots on the camera. The desktop app offers a RAW editing workflow. Check the campaign for current software and device requirements.
How do I move my photos off the camera?
Use Wi-Fi for wireless transfer or USB-C for a wired connection. The app is part of the digital-roll development and filter workflow, so review device compatibility before choosing a reward.
What is included, and when will it ship?
Contents depend on your chosen Kickstarter reward and add-ons. Confirm the camera, lenses and accessories included, shipping to your country, taxes and estimated delivery on the campaign page. Crowdfunding rewards and delivery dates are not guaranteed.
